This guidance has been produced to assist health authorities in implementing the various guidelines which have been produced recently for the Cervical Screening Programme. The guide sets out general principles upon which purchasers can develop their own local systems. The toolkit includes a model service level agreement, which is also available on disk, frameworks for auditing both the working of the programme and cases of invasive cervical cancer and an outline for a communications strategy.
