Quality Assurance Guidelines for the Cervical Screening Programme

The Health of the Nation target for reducing the incidence of cervical cancer will only be achieved if all women within the target population have access to a high quality screening service which is subject to the continual monitoring, evaluation and improving to standards. It is the objective of this document to set those standards and to outline an overall quality framework within which those standards can be met, maintained and monitored.
