Lesbian, gay and bisexual women in the North West

A multi-method study of cervical screening attitudes, experiences and uptake

This research project was funded by the NHS Cervical Screening Programme as part of its commitment to reducing health inequalities for lesbian and bisexual (LGB) women. It was in response to the Department of Health’s Cancer Reform Strategy 2007 [PDF 1.42Mb] which promised action to reduce inequalities in cancer incidence, access to services and outcomes.
